Gentle Reader,
Without preamble, because I slept little last night and it’s difficult to breathe. Kate says: work.
Go.
Smoke fills the air. Ash and dust fill our lungs.
Houston floats. Florida braces for impact.
The Northwest – 1200 fires. We burn.
I am not given to attempting to predict when the Lord will return, but I can’t help but feel that the apocalypse has begun. Natural disasters, wars and rumors of wars. Birth pangs or death knells; hard to decide. A winding down and winding up. My eyes look to the sky above, covered by a layer of yellowish, dirty particulates. I long to see it rend in two, split in half, unable to bear the weight of the Glorious King condescending, once again, to set foot on the earth He holds together.
He declared the work finished. Took His place, seated at the right hand of the Father.
And yet we wait.
Again, the “already” and the “not yet.”
Stop.
Yeah, I hear you, Marie. praying for you on the fire deal.
Didn’t sleep last night either, but much more mundane. Spent a few hours shrieking in pain, and then got chills that vibrated me off the couch…and it was 85 degrees where I sleep.
The baleful red sun this morning was welcome, but it would be cool with me if J Dude would drop by and wrap things up, yeah?

A week late in replying, but yes – I’d be fine with Jesus returning. More than fine. I long for it.

There is so much more for Him to do but never lose heart, HE IS AT WORK. xo

I know He’s working, but sometimes I forget. Sometimes it looks as though the darkness and the evil are going to win. Needed this reminder today!

Yes….the already and not yet!

I’m ready for the “not yet” to become the “already.” Like Andrew said above – please, Lord, come quickly.

This is so spot on to what many people are thinking right now. It’s incredible. Well said and I pray He comes soon!
