Gentle Reader,
I’m going to be up-front with you: My mind is not on writing today. It probably won’t be for the rest of this week. Not until I get the MRI on Friday out of the way. I know I shouldn’t be scared, but I am. For the last three days I’ve walked that awful path of being too tired to sleep. When I do manage to close my eyes, I wake with a start, the snake of anxiety wrapping ever-tighter around my heart.
My plan for this week is to simply share some things that Jesus said, things that bring me comfort. I hope they seep into your soul.
“Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh.” – Luke 6:21b (NKJV)
