As I shared last week, 2018 marks a decade of my banging around in the blogging world. The metaphorical gray hairs that come with being “an old hand” at this match the ones sprinkled throughout this head of curls that is in desperate need of a cut. I’ve been there and done that and bought the t-shirt. Without letting go of the old and good, it’s time to reach out and try something new.
Thus, I am opening up my space on Wednesdays for anyone who wants to share. The guidelines are simple:
- Read my statement of faith. If you’re on board (reasonable disagreement allowed), then…
- Write about whatever you want and…
- Use as many words as you want. Then…
- Send it to me via the contact page.
Here’s your disclaimer: I will not always be in complete agreement with every little thing that these guest authors share. I may interact with their posts by writing responses. The point of this experiment is to celebrate the joy of writing, support my fellow authors and foster conversation. We live in a time when echo chambers are the norm. We need diversity. We need to be challenged. We need to think. We need to learn how to interact with each other in grace and kindness.
May The Wednesday Writers be encouraging, enlightening and entertaining.
