Gentle Reader,
Today’s Verse:
“Therefore all Your precepts concerning all things
I consider to be right;
I hate every false way. “- Psalm 119:128
Point to Ponder:
It is not wrong for a Christian to hate. That sounds strange, I know, but it’s true. While believers are commanded to love every person, they are not commanded to love every idea or action. I hate the false way that leads to women and children being locked up in dingy rooms, made to serve the lusts of men. I hate the false way that leads people I care about to reject God. This kind of hate is the godly jealousy the Bible talks about; this is motivated by the very love God builds in us for others. We should want them to know Him.
